Barclays and Wells Fargo Managing Directors Join MSRB

[ by Melanie Gretchen ] MSRB has appointed to its board Kym Arnone, Managing Director and Head of Municipal Securitization Initiatives at Barclays, and Craig Noble, a Managing Director and Head of the Retail Fixed Income Group for Wells Fargo Advisors.  They are among the 7 new members to its Board of Directors for Fiscal Year 2013. What Does the MSRB Do? The 21-member Board establishes policies, approves rule-making, enhances market transparency systems, and oversees operations for the self-regulatory organization for the municipal securities market.  Chosen from a pool of 130 applicants, the 7 will serve a 3-year term, including:
  • Kym Arnone, Managing Director and Head of Municipal Securitization Initiatives at Barclays
  • Craig Noble, Managing Director and Head of the Retail Fixed Income Group for Wells Fargo Advisors
  • Richard Ellis, Treasurer for the state of Utah
  • Bartley Hildreth, Professor of Public Management and Policy at Georgia State University
  • Gene Saffold, independent consultant
  • Robin Wiessmann, former Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Marianne Edmonds, Senior Managing Director for Public Resources Advisory Group, joins the Board as a municipal advisor representative
