BATS to Name New Chairman

BATS Global Markets' Board of Directors will restructure its ranks, to split the roles of Chairman and CEO. Going forward, the board announced that the President and CEO Joe Ratterman will continue his role as Chairman since June 2007, until a new Chairman is chosen.
In his current position, Mr. Ratterman, a founding member, has received unanimous support from the board.
"Joe continues to do a tremendous job as CEO of BATS, leading an organization which now operates the third-largest stock exchange in the U.S., Europe's largest stock market, and a growing U.S. options exchange." -- the Board.
