Bonus Scorecard

February 22, 2012
[ by Melanie Gretchen ] With BNP Paribas, Societe Generale, and UBS having recently announced firm-wide bonus cuts, we now have statistics on 11 different firms that can be compared.  Average firm-wide cuts ranged widely, from 15% to nearly 50%. And, firms in the U.S. and abroad employed various ways to limit their expenses, such as:  curbing pay, or changing compensation formulas - e.g., offering less cash and more stock, or deferring a greater percentage of total pay. The information in this chart was compiled by Bloomberg News.  See its link below. For further details, go to [Bloomberg, 2/21/12].
