C-I Financial Index: Highs and Lows for Tuesday, 11/22

November 22, 2011
Thanksgiving Holiday can't come soon enough for U.S. equity markets - and particularly for the financial sector, which today declined nearly 2% - with all 20 stocks in the C-I Index in-the-red.  Monday wasn't much better, as 18 of 20 fell. Foreign banks/broker-dealers take the prize today: (i) Barclays (-4.5%), (ii) Deutsche Bank (-3.2%), (iii) Santander (-2.8%). The Extremes - Best Performers. Today, the distinction goes to these "smallest losers": (i) Morgan Stanley (-0.6%), (ii) LPL Investments (-0.7%) and (iii) Ameriprise (-0.8%).
