Deutsche Bank: Management Shake-Up

[ by Melanie Gretchen ] Deutsche Bank has appointed new team leaders, as the in-coming co-chief executives prepare to take the helm of the German bank.  Anshu Jain and Jürgen Fitschen, who will assume the positions of co-chief executives on 6/1/12, have named Henry Ritchotte to become Deutsche Bank’s COO and Stuart Lewis as the firm’s chief risk officer.  Under their leadership, Stephan Leithner will lead the bank’s human resources, legal, and compliance division. Change-Up. In the firm's investment banking unit, Colin Fan, who works in the emerging-markets division of the bank, will oversee sales and trading.  Robert Rankin, the firm’s head of its Asian operations, will lead Deutsche Bank’s origination and advisory businesses. Expansion. In addition, the bank will expand its group executive committee, including the heads of its major business units, by 50%, from 12 to 18 people.  All appointments will take on 6/1/12, according to a company statement.
