Deutsche Bank To Cancel Bonuses For Former Executives: Report

November 18, 2016

Deutsche Bank reportedly will renege on promises to pay bonuses made earlier to 6 former executives – including former CEO Josef Ackermann, and former co-CEOs Anshu Jain and Jürgen Fischen. The 3 others involved are said to be former board members Hermann-Josef Lamberti, Michael Cohrs and Hugo Bänziger.

The cancellation refers to bonuses which have not yet been paid and in total add up to a double-digit multimillion figure. A bank spokesperson did not wish to comment on the specifics, but said that details on the possibility of cancelling variable compensation for certain executives could be found in the most recent annual report.
