Dewey Even Stiffs Office Janitors

[ by Melanie Gretchen ] Dewey: Forget pensions or claims of owed money [see Who's News story, "Ex-Dewey Vice Chairman: I'm Owed $61 Million"], the New York law firm is now facing a lawsuit that it failed to pay for janitorial services. Down the Toilet. Hitting new lows, the firm was sued by a unit of ABM Industries Inc. on Friday in New York State Supreme Court.  Based in New York, ABM Janitorial Services-Northeast claimed that the law firm failed to pay some $299,000 for janitorial and related cleaning services at its offices at 1301 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan through 4/30/12. To date, the once 11th-largest U.S. law firm has lost 120 partners, including 3 out of 4 remaining co-chairmen.  Last week, we tracked the firm in Who's News' "Dewey Fires 450 People".
