February 7, 2013

[ by Melanie Gretchen ]

E*Trade Financial Corporation COO Gregory Framke is departing the holding company to pursue other opportunities.  Although he stepped down in his role on Monday, 2/4, he will continue to act as an advisor to the Company for a transition period through March 2013.  Thereafter, he'll be eligible to collect separation benefits in accordance with his employment agreement dated 1/1/12.

Mr. Framke, who received his bachelor's with honors in International Finance from The George Washington University, started out with IBM in marketing and sales management positions.  He then began his 20-year odyssey through Wall Street.  Before joining E*Trade, Mr. Framke was Director and Global Equity Technology Chief Operating Officer for Deutsche Bank Securities, and was a Principal with Morgan Stanley & Co for equity technology in New York and London.
