Fidelity Rep Barred Following Submission of Bad Expense Report

May 26, 2011

Michael Dickamore, a Farmington, UT-based Registered Rep with Fidelity Brokerage Services,  misused the corporate credit card he was issued by the firm.  He spent over $50,000 on personal expenses without the firm’s permission or authority, and submitted the charges as business expenses for the firm to reimburse.  During an interview with his firm, Dickamore reportedly admitted he had paid for personal items with his corporate credit card and falsely identified those items as business expenses.  Dickamore reimbursed the firm in full.  Subsequently, Dickamore failed to respond to FINRA requests for information and failed to appear for on-the-record testimony.

He was was barred from the industry.  [C-I Note:  Most likely for not participating in the FINRA investigation, and not the CC purchases.]  This is FINRA Case #2009017212301.   [Disciplinary Actions for May 2011]
