FINRA to Migrate OATS Certificate Test
February 13, 2012
On 2/27/12, FINRA will migrate the OATS Certificate Test (CT) environment to a new data center, which will impact Order Sending Organizations connecting to OATS via IFT, FTP, SFTP and Web.
Details of the upcoming change are enumerated below. The OATS Production (PD) environment is not impacted.
Transmission Method. Details
- IFT. OSOs may continue to connect to OATS CT environment via IFT using the DNS name: iftcert.finra.org. OSOs may continue to connect to OATS CT environment via IFT using the DNS name: iftcert.finra.org.
- FTP. OSOs may continue to connect to OATS CT environment via FTP using the DNS name: oatstest-ftp.finra.org. The associated IP address for IFT will be changed to 198.202.241.39 on 2/27.
- SFTP.OSOs may continue to connect to OATS CT environment via SFTP using the DNS name: oatstest-sftp.finra.org. The associated IP address for SFTP will be changed to 198.202.241.39 on 2/27.
- Web. OSOs may continue to connect to the OATS CT website using the address: https://firmstest.finra.org. The associated IP address for the website will be changed to 198.202.240.131 on 2/27.
