Goldman Sachs Hires Ex-Senator

The Goldman Sachs Group announced that Judd Gregg, a former 3-term U.S. Senator from New Hampshire has been named an international advisor to the firm.  He joins a group of 17 international advisors and will provide strategic advice to the firm and its clients, and assist in business development initiatives across our global franchise.

Senator Gregg was the ranking Republican member on several committees:  Appropriations;  Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs;  Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.  Prior to joining the U.S. Senate, he served 2 terms as governor of New Hampshire and 4 terms as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.  He holds a JD and Master of Laws from Boston U. and a BA in English from Columbia U.   [Goldman Sachs Press Release, 5/27/11]
