What a fitting way to end the week and perhaps the outsized public life and career of MF Global CEO Jon Corzine, who today resigned - voluntarily or under duress.  Of course, we'll be seeing and hearing a lot more of and from Mr. Corzine. "Slide One.  He came from humble roots. Corzine had a typical and humble Midwestern upbringing.  He grew up on a farm in central Illinois;  his father was a farmer and insurance salesman, and his mother was a schoolteacher.

In high school, Corzine was a football quarterback and captain of the basketball team.
