MSRB Outreach Events in 2012 - Register Now
January 13, 2012
The MSRB will host an education and outreach event for municipal market professionals in Dallas on 2/22/12. The event will provide an opportunity for industry professionals to learn about the MSRB’s fiscal year 2012 operating objectives and its rulemaking efforts for municipal advisors and dealers. Similar seminars will be held in Chicago (April 2012) and in San Francisco (July 2012).
All MSRB educational seminars are open to the public and municipal securities market stakeholders, including regulated entities, investors and municipal entities.
Dallas Seminar. The afternoon seminar will be held on Wednesday, 2/22, from 3 - 5 p.m. There's no cost to attend. Representatives from MSRB will discuss initiatives the MSRB is undertaking, including rulemaking, market transparency and education activities. The program also will include updates on the MSRB’s implementation of the Dodd-Frank Reform Act.
