NOM Adopts New Fee Dispute Practices

Beginning 1/3/12, the Nasdaq Options Markets ("NOM") will introduce new Rule 7056, Nasdaq Options Fee Disputes - subject to SEC approval.  As proposed, the fee dispute practice will require NOM participants to dispute fee invoices within 60 days of receipt of the billing invoice. All disputes concerning fees that now are billed by NOM, must be submitted to NOM in writing and must be accompanied by supporting documentation. Rule 7056 currently applies to Rule 7050, Nasdaq Options Market fees" and Rue 7054, Nasdaq Options Market -Access Services, with the exception of the TradeInfo Fees.
