[ by Howard Haykin ]
The NYSE and NYSE MKT issued an Information Memo to remind its member organizations of the reporting requirements for Crossing Session II ("CS II") transactions.
CS II runs from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. ET, and handles crosses of a basket of multiple stocks of aggregate price buy and sell orders. CS II Detail Reports (the breakdown of symbols and corresponding number of shares for each Crossing Session II basket) must be reported to the Exchange via the electronic filing platform ("EFP") on trade date.
Member organizations also are reminded that timely, complete and accurate CS II Detail Reports are essential in order for the Exchange to comply with, and to pay all fees due pursuant to, Section 31 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
