SEC's Upcoming Roundtable on Financial Reporting

November 4, 2011
The SEC will hold its Inaugural Roundtable of Financial Reporting Series next week on 11/8.  The event will begin at 10 a.m. at SEC Washington D.C. headquarters.  Public seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and the event will be viewable by live webcast on the SEC website.  It also will be archived for later viewing. The agenda and panelists for the roundtable on "Measurement Uncertainty in Financial Reporting" are provided below, after the jump.  It will feature 3 panels discussing the extent to which financial reporting should include measurement uncertainties, and the information that investors find important to understanding and assessing those uncertainties.  A briefing paper highlighting the issues to be considered at the roundtable discussion, was previously prepared by the SEC staff.
