Securities Transactions Fees to Rise
March 2, 2012
The SEC is increasing the Section 31 transaction fee rate to $22.40 per million. The higher rate, which is passed onto customers, goes into effect on 4/1/12. Just last month - on February 21 - the fee rate had been dropped to $18 from $19.20. As they say, "No biggie."
